Hakka Culture Plaza
Vanke Hakka Culture Exhibition Plaza is a landscape renovation project that connects a Hakka ancestral hall with a commercial district in Shenzhen. The plaza covers 5900 square meters. Lingnan cultural elements such as gable walls, bucket arches, blue flagstones, black bricks, tiles, oyster walls and carving patterns are reinterpreted within the landscape design. The gable element landscape walls give out soft light in the evening. The design preserves the historical appearance of the ancestral hall and offers citizens an open square for rest and leisure.
